Reiki Share

If you are a Reiki practitioner, you are probably aware of the term ‘Reiki Share’, even if you haven’t yet taken part in one. If you aren’t familiar with the term, or perhaps you’ve heard it, but aren’t quite sure what is involved, then hopefully this will help to make it clear.

A Reiki share is quite simply, a group of attuned Reiki practitioners, which is open to all levels of ability and experience, that come together with the intention of connecting to source and sharing the healing light.

An essential part of Reiki practice is self-healing, and many practitioners also share healing with friends and family or work professionally with clients in a variety of settings, such as a therapy centre, hospital, or private clinic. It’s easy to become focused on giving treatments and forget the importance of receiving Reiki from another practitioner.

Collective consciousness is incredibly powerful. A Reiki share is a wonderful way to connect with kindred spirits, give and receive healing, while also having an opportunity to share ideas and techniques, ask questions and explore different topics, all within a relaxed, friendly, atmosphere.

A Reiki Share typically involves a guided meditation, relaxing music, a short self-healing session, and a group healing session with one person on a treatment couch receiving healing from several practitioners at a time. The person receiving healing can then swap to be part of the healing group, and this can be repeated as time allows so that several people can receive healing.

This group healing is often followed by a distance/absent healing session, in which the group’s collective consciousness sends healing energy to a person who may be suffering from injury, trauma, or illness, mental or physical. Healing may also be sent to animals, communities, projects, events, global situations, and the planet.

I plan to hold our first Reiki Share in the summer if there is interest. So, if this sounds like something you want to be part of, please get in touch to let me know.
